A boy and girl meet cute at an Irish hospital in Choosing Signs, and so begins a romantic comedy about quirky people adjusting in a world that pretends to be normal.

Eamon is a hospital worker with a secret and a rooftop garden.  A gentle jokester, he quickly warms to Jennifer, a counter culture devotee who decides things by watching for signs, because she's paralyzed by indecision. They meet during a visit with her brother Matty, who's suffering from some vague mental/emotional condition that involves automotive parts.

Jennifer feels torn between her growing attraction to Eamon and her commitment to Marc, a skeptical boyfriend who’s preoccupied with designing one-room apartments for immigrants.  Svetlana is their pregnant Russian housekeeper, dishing out common sense observations to anyone within close proximity.

Director Owen Dara offers us a glimpse into these fragile souls as they gain strength by dancing with their demons.  The small ensemble cast weaves its warm magic, making Choosing Signs a  rare old-fashioned Irish love story to remember.
